'Lovers' prints as they were printed in pairs, and they can be bought individually or in pairs each print has a ghost print printed from the same inked etching plate. 'Lovers' , after printing the first print I have moved the cellophane and than run the plate back through the press on a second sheet of paper creating a 'ghost' print.

The portrait of the model was taken by the artist in her studio, her eyes closed, her serenity is in striking contrast to the detailed and dynamic marks made by the experimental printing techniques Emerson has developed.
